Privacy policy
This policy explains what personal information Bendigo Asbestos Removal collects when you send an enquiry or call, what happens to it, and how to get it changed or deleted.
What we collect
- Quick enquiry forms (home page, About Us, services pages, guides): your name, phone number, email address, a short message and, on service pages, the service you've chosen.
- Full quote form (Contact page): your name, phone, email (optional), suburb or town, the service you need, where the material is, whether it's been tested, its condition, the property type, rough size, timeframe, a message and any photos you choose to upload.
- Phone calls: if your call goes to voicemail, your phone number, the recording of your message and an automatic transcription of it.
- Technical details: the page you sent the form from.
How we use it
Your details are used only to respond to your enquiry. They're passed to one WorkSafe Victoria licensed asbestos removalist who services your area, so they can contact you about the job. Your details are not sold, rented or added to a marketing list, and they're not passed to multiple businesses.
How forms and voicemail are processed
Website forms are delivered by email using FormSubmit (formsubmit.co), a third-party form service that processes the submission on our behalf. Voicemail is handled by our phone provider, which records your message, transcribes it and emails both to us. These providers may store data outside Australia.
Storage and security
Enquiries are kept in a business email account with restricted access. They're kept for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and any follow-up, then deleted.
Access, correction and deletion
You can ask to see the information held about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Email enquiries@bendigoasbestosremoval.com and include the name and phone number you used.
